Quality equipment and advanced software
The studio works with quality equipment and the most advanced software/plugins for music production and audio editing.
For example, a vocal recording by the famous large-diaphragm condenser microphone Neumann U87 Ai passes through the audio interface Universal Audio Apollo X4 via a cable from Mogami Gold. In the process, the audio also goes right through perfect software emulations of famous pieces of studio hardware; thus, there is a more beautiful sound right away. This is stored in Logic Pro on a powerful Mac.
After recording, the audio is further processed with a variety of plugins from iZotope, Waves and Universal Audio, among others, and with hardware mix controllers. During mixing and mastering, the engineer listens in on Event Opal’s ultra-precise monitor speakers, among others, supported by “room acoustics correction” software for reliable frequency response. Anyway, the studio equipment is connected to hi-fi power filters for a clean sound.
Customers can use the guitar amps and guitars on hand, including a Fender Stratocaster, a Roland electronic drum kit and two MIDI keyboards. On a MIDI keyboard, in addition to piano, all possible instruments can be played in via triggering samples. The studio has a very extensive sound library. Realistic-sounding drum, bass, piano and guitar parts can also be created – without playing the instrument yourself – with the computer using the latest software from Toontrack and Native Instruments.
